Dr Donald Graham, DO FACOS
Dr. Graham is a board certified, fellowship trained neurosurgeon with over three decades of experience in spinal and neurosurgical procedures. Throughout his career he has performed thousands of operations while advocating for a conservative approach that puts patients first.
A native of Michigan, Dr Graham attended Albion College and earned his medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. After a rotating internship and a year of general surgery, he completed his neurosurgical residency in Detroit and a fellowship at the University of South Florida.
He began practicing in Pinellas County, Florida, in 1991, serving up to seven hospitals while also working as a part-time assistant clinical professor at the University of South Florida and as a neurosurgeon for both the Bay Pines and James A. Haley Veterans Administration Hospitals.
In 2006 he relocated his practice to Statesboro, Georgia, where he continues to serve patients. Dr. Graham has participated in numerous technical advancements in spinal surgery and holds the first patient for artificial disc designed specifically for the cervical spine.
Dr Graham founded Second Opine Spine to provide patients with a responsible alternative to the growing tide of unnecessary spinal surgeries. His commitment is to offer an honest, independent assessment and help patients navigate their options.
